Figure 5. No release of cytochrome C from mitochondria in triamcinolone-treated-ARPE-19 cells

ARPE 19 cells cultured in the presence 0.1 mg/ml triamcinolone (in 1% ethanol) were immunostained with anti cytochrome C. Dotted disposition of staining in both control and TA treated cells indicate that this molecule remains in the mitochondria. Apoptosis induced in ARPE cells with staurosporine was used as positive control. Scale bar represents 10 μm.
