The intensity of immunolabeling for Msi1 in the INL increased as the neuroretina approached maturity (B-D). The outer plexiform layer (OPL) and the inner plexiform layer (IPL) were both positively immunolabeled for Msi1 (B, D). Msi1 protein was also observed in the photoreceptor inner segment (IS; B, C).
