The JOAG locus on chromosome 5 is confined centromerically at D5S2051 and telomerically at D5S2090, within a region of 36 Mb. The JOAG locus identified in our study was very close to but did not overlap with the GLC1G minimal interval between D5S1466 and D5S2051.
