Chaperone-like activity of wild-type αB- and αBinvert-crystallin mutant against EDTA-induced aggregation of ADH at 37 °C (A) and thermal aggregation of CS at 43 °C (B). αBinvert-crystallin mutant exhibited chaperone-function similar to that of wild-type αB-crystallin. Data for only one concentration of wild-type αB-crystallin (50 μg, in both A and B) is shown to improve the clarity of the figure.
