A single transition was observed at position 34 (C>T). B: Multiple-sequence alignment in the CRYG family and CRYGD of different species revealed that codon 14, where mutation (R14C) occurred, was located within a highly conserved region. The "Mutated" sequence indicates the sequence with the mutation detected in this Chinese family.
