Western blot analysis for TERT in normal canine LEC, 2 anterior capsulotomy samples from canine cataracts, normal canine lens fibers, and canine mast cell tumor (MCT, positive control). The normal LEC have low expression of TERT compared to cataractous samples. The normal lens fibers do not express TERT, and the MCT sample demonstrates overexpression of TERT. β-actin was used as the loading control.
