Table 1. Comparison of outer nuclear layer thickness in mice
Mice were treated with R64 and anti-CTLA4 antibody to induce CAR like retinal dysfunction, and simultaneously triamcinalone (steroid) was subconjunctively injected for the medication. Triamcinalone treatment appears to preserve photoreceptor cells in CAR mouse model. An asterisk indicates a statistical difference between steroid treated and untreated groups (p<0.05). Density of nuclei is given per 10 μm2.
