Table 2. Percentage of bound γ-crystallins to α-crystallins under equilibrium conditions

The initial concentrations were 40 μM α-crystallin and 50 μM γ-crystallin, which correspond to a weight ratio of 4:5, respectively. The calculation for each peak is the average of three determinations and the standard deviation, calculated from the weight of γ-crystallin bound to the same weight of α-crystallin.
