Intracellular localization of ELOVL4 aggresomes were compared with the localization of the Golgi marker, golgin-97. COS-7 cells that express GFP-Emut (A-C), GFP-Ewt and mutant (D-F), mock transfected (G-I) were immunolabeled with antibody to golgin-97 (red), and cells expressing GFP-Ewt and GFP-Emut (J-L) were labeled with anti-TGN38 antibody. Golgi staining is shown in red (B,E,H,K). The scale bar represents 5 μm. Overlays of first two columns show the partial colocalization of ELOVL4 aggresomes with the Golgi markers.
