A: Frozen sections of retinas from RHO+/+ mice two months following injection with AAV Rz397 or with saline solution were reacted with mouse monoclonal antibodies to rhodopsin and detected with Cy3-conjugated anti-mouse IgG antibody. Sections were counterstained with fluorescein labeled PNA. B: Left is longitudinal sections of retina from similar mice were hybridized with a [33P]-labeled opsin cDNA probe and exposed to photographic emulsion for the same period of time. Right is close-up images of the same retinas.
