Immunofluorescent confocal microscopy of the control and LCA retina labeled for glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP). The outer nuclear layer (ONL), outer plexiform layer (OPL), inner plexiform layer (IPL), inner nuclear layer (INL), and ganglion cell layer (GCL) are labeled.
