Treatment with the uncoupler of the electron transport chain potential, carbonyl cyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazone (CCCP) abolished the movement of TMRE fluorescence in the mitochondria of lens epithelium. This animation was reconstructed from 60 images of the epithelial cells that were taken from the same z-planes for 12 min.
