Expression of fractalkine (A) and CX3CR1(B) mRNA in the iris/ciliary body from Lewis rats at different times during the course of experimental autoimmune anterior uveitis (EAAU). The control represents normal rats that have not been immunized. The bar charts present the relative intensity of fractalkine mRNA. The line charts present the clinical scores of the disease. The intensity of mRNA was analyzed using an image analyzer and the relative intensity was determined by comparison of its intensity with that of β-actin. Bars represent the mean; the error bars represent the standard deviation in five rats. Asterisks indicate a p<0.05 for a comparison to the normal control.
