Figure 8. GdHCl concentration dependent change of Trp fluorescence in βB2-crystallin
The Q155* mutant showed a decreased protein stability compared to WT βB2-crystallin with increasing concentrations of GdHCl. The ratios of fluorescence intensity at 360/320 (A) or maximal emission wavelengths (B) were plotted as a function of GdHCl concentrations. The excitation wavelength was 295 nm.
