A: SDS-PAGE analysis was carried out to check the purity of the expressed protein. B: Western blot analysis was carried out to identify the expressed Q155* βB2-crystallin mutant. A molecular weight marker has been loaded in lane 1, in lane 2 is the untagged WT βB2-crystallin, in lane 3 is the 6xHis tagged WT βB2-crystallin, and in lane 4 is the 6xHis tagged Q155* βB2-crystallin mutant.
