The protein-protein interactions of the Q155* mutant with other crystallins are not affected by mutation. Protein-protein interactions between βB2-crystallin mutants was expressed by the fold increase of SEAP activity over the controls (plasmids without DNA inserts). Statistical significance was calculated by the paired t-test. The asterisk indicates a p>0.05 for the Q155* mutant as compared with WT.
