Figure 1. Isolation of the RPE/choroid from the eyecup
The neural retina was removed from the mouse eyecup and the RPE/choroid was scraped as a sheet from the scleral wall. The photograph shows the RPE/choroid layer as it is peeled away from the sclera as a sheet.
