Safflower oil (SO, n-6-rich, triangle) and flaxseed oil (FO, n-3-rich, square) diets were fed to wild type (WT), P23H, and S344ter rats from the fifteenth day of gestation and electroretinograms (ERGs) measured at 55 days of age. ERGs plotting the a-wave (photoreceptor response) and b-wave (neural retina response) amplitudes versus stimulus intensity (log ND filter) are shown. The graph shows the mean values; the standard deviation is represented by the error bars (n=4 to 7).
