Figure 3. Identification of natriuretic peptide receptor transcripts in the human retina

RT-PCR was performed using gene specific primers for NPRA (lane 3), NPRB (lane 5), and NPRC (lane 7) in retinal tissue (n=10). Ventricular tissue (lanes 2, 4, 6) was used as a positive control for the NPRA, NPRB, and NPRC, respectively. Single bands of predicted molecular size for NPRA (98 bp), NPRB (75 bp), and NPRC (79 bp) transcripts were detected. Lane M is a DNA molecular marker. Lane Bl is a non-template control.
