Eight laser spots were applied in each eye and each spot was scored in a masked manner by 3 ophthalmologists. The average of the sum of the scores for the 8 spots was calculated as the score of each eye. The bars represent the mean score (10 to 12 eyes); the error bars represent the standard error of the mean. Asterisks mark significant (p<0.05) differences.
