Figure 1. KLF expression pattern in human cornea and conjunctiva

The expression pattern of the different KLFs was determined by RT-PCR on total mRNA extracted from 5 human total cornea (upper panel) and 10 conjunctiva (lower panel) using specific primers to generate KLF1 to 15 products. Positive control (GADPH) was performed under the same conditions but using oligonucletide primers specific to the housekeeping gene GADPH (434 base pairs). Negative control (NC) was performed in the absence of oligonucleotides or matrix.
