Figure 2. Peptide mass fingerprinting (PMF) of mouse ALDH3A1

The 50 kDa protein was characterized by tryptic peptide mass fingerprinting using matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS). The observed PMF was used to search the NCBI database using the Mascot program and was identified as aldehyde dehydrogenase family 3, subfamily A1 (Mus musculus; NM_007436).
