Figure 2. Significant increase in PEDF (but not VEGF) protein in AAV2/1.CMV.PEDF injected eyes
Levels of PEDF (A) and VEGF (B) protein were evaluated in cohorts of animals in which one eye had been injected with AAV2/1.CMV.PEDF and the contralateral eye injected as control. There was a significant increase in PEDF protein in AAV2/1.CMV.PEDF injected eyes whereas levels of VEGF did not change.
